A recursive event is one that happens inside itself, e.g. I start a meeting and then before it finishes I start it again.

What is meant is "Recurring event" i.e. one that occurs again.

Thanks for the patch, I just applied it but now I wonder if I should change all the 'recursive' instances to 'recurring' in the code as well, at least to be consistent.

I'll give it some thoughts :)
