We should look into dropping the Console and moving the core Console functionality into the existing web interfaces. This will reduce the number of different management interfaces we have (and the number of packages). It will also make remote management easier, as one can simply use a system with a browser installed instead of requring installation of a separate application like Console.
We need to evaluate what important functionality the Console has that we are lacking elsewhere. We then need to file separate tickets to implement that functionality in the web interfaces.
