#295 Create server package
Closed: Fixed None Opened 11 years ago by edewata.

The pki-common RPM currently contains the common classes (pki-certsrv), the client classes (pki-client), and the server classes (pki-cms and pki-cmscore). The server classes should be moved into a separate pki-server RPM so that the client doesn't need to install the server classes. So the RPM packages will be deployed as follows:

  • Server: pki-common.rpm, pki-server.rpm (and possibly pki-client.rpm too)
  • Clint: pki-common.rpm, pki-client.rpm (no pki-server.rpm)

The pki-client.rpm may be needed on the server because the server uses the client code to communicate to another server.

This is needed to complete ticket #215.
