#2548 ESC shows error messages that does not match with the failure messages in TPS debug log
Closed: migrated 3 years ago by dmoluguw. Opened 7 years ago by rpattath.

ESC shows error messages that does not match with the failure messages in TPS
debug log

Steps to Reproduce:

1. For certain tests when token enrollment is expected fail, ESC does not show
the appropriate error message. For example

- If key recovery using externalReg fails when the ldap user has a wrong
tokenType
- When token renewal fails when the certs on the token are outside the renewal
period

Actual results:

ESC gives an error message "The Smart Card server cannot process your smart
card which is marked as terminated"

Expected results:

The error message shown by ESC should match that in the TPS debug log

Additional info:

the debug log for the token renewal failure example is attached to the associated Bugzilla Bug
