#2469 hardcoding /bin/certutil etc is bad
Closed: fixed 5 years ago by cipherboy. Opened 7 years ago by tjaalton.

Debian doesn't have a symlink for /bin -> /usr/bin, so hardcoding binaries to use /bin/ is bad.

other alternative would be to just drop the hardcoded path, and rely on the system to have at least /usr/bin on $PATH

As this is a relatively small change (hopefully), I suggest eventually associating this bug with the Dogtag 10.4.0 Miscellaneous Bug (once it has been created).

As in comment #3, this change was intended for 10.4.

I'm marking this as fixed. As far as I can tell, there are no remaining paths to /bin/certutil; all of them are /usr/bin/certutil.
