Currently KRA and TPS subsystems provide tools to manage VLV indexes which can be used to simplify database upgrade:
$ pki-server kra-db-vlv-* $ pki-server tps-db-vlv-*
The common code should be refactored into a base class which then can be used to provide the same tools for all PKI subsystems.
