#1473 CLI for managing system certificates
Closed: migrated 3 years ago by dmoluguw. Opened 8 years ago by edewata.

There should be a REST service and pki CLI commands to manage the system certificates on each subsystem. It should provide the following functionalities:

  • listing all system certificates
  • retrieving a system certificate
  • updating/renewing a system certificate

The list and retrieve operations should be open to public. The update/renew operation should only be accessible by admin.

Per CS/DS meeting of 07/13/2015: 10.3

There should be similar commands using the server CLI (i.e. pki-server) that can run locally without requiring the server to be running. This will be useful for the administrator during installation.

There should also be a command to export the certificate chain.
