#1248 Unable to clone Dogtag 9.0 to 10.0
Closed: Invalid None Opened 9 years ago by edewata.

Some users are reporting a problem cloning 9.0 to 10.0 for IPA migration on CentOS. So far the problem cannot be reproduced with a fresh installation. Further investigation is needed.

Replica installation failure:

2015-01-21T22:30:28Z DEBUG stderr=pkispawn    : WARNING  ....... unable
to validate security domain user/password through REST interface.
Interface not available
pkispawn : ERROR ....... Exception from Java Configuration
Servlet: Failed to obtain installation token from security domain

Per 10.2.3 Triage meeting of 02/26/2015: leave here

Per CS/DS Meeting of 03/09/2015: 10.3

NOTE: Since Tomcat 8 was postponed until Fedora 23.

To validate the security domain password, execute the following against the SD's database:

$ ldapsearch -x -D <CA admin DN> -w <CA admin password> -b "" -s base

Most likely it's an environment issue.
