#788 Revamp of getfedora.org info architecture
Opened 2 years ago by duffy. Modified 2 years ago

getfedora.org needs a bit of a revamp to the info architecture. using this ticket to track the redesign effort.

Notes:

  • Some of the choices of which images get elevated for download and which aren't are historical and don't apply anymore: for example, we used to have only some (the promoted) images built on koji, vs others which were built in somewhat less consistent environments. Now, all images are built on koji, so any potential inconsistencies in the build producst isn't really a concern anymore.

  • ARM images are all over the place. arm.fpo has some, but the arm 64 server image is on the server page and not on the arm.fpo page., for example. And the ARM version of the KDE spin is not on the KDE spins page download screen.

It is OK for images to exist in more than one place. Having each image appear in exactly one place as it seems we have now is an issue.

Can you give more context on revamping the Information Architecture of getfedora.org?
Means - What and all does one need to include? I can help you in building the IA.
