Fontawesome uses a ... workaround ... for the lack of a good single-color version of the classic logo. Fortunately, we have an awesome new logo.
Let's work with them (probably via a new issue at https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/issues) to get the new logo into place.

I would block it, I had a look yesterday to the new logo. Its not node clean, I just discovered as I used it and converted it to G-Code you have to clean it before convert it to a glyph
@gnokii Can you explain that more simply for me? This is far outside of my area of expertise! Do you mean the SVG file in fedora-logos right now isn't optimized properly and won't make a good source file for creating a font from, or something else?
@gnokii The version of the logo fontawesome is using now, or the new Fedora logo svg generally? Do you have a copy of the final new fedora logo svg? I don't recall sending it to you - happy to do so - it is pretty clean and optimized but maybe you're looking at a derivative or traced one if that is what you are talking about?
