It would be good to have generic icons for various sound device form factors, such as external speakers, headphones and headsets, to show in the volume control/audio configuration to ease identification of the right sound card if multiple are available.

There already has been an art request for this on gnome.org, to little success. My hope is that the Fedora Arts community might be able to contribute something.
