Looking carefully at the front-page, the search box is in the footer, It's hard to see it, it's certainly not the best place.
I think move it to a best place like the header may breaks the look and feel of the magazine (the header is small and the search box not) so we might need to modify the wordpress theme to include the search box in a better position.
this idea was discussed in the marketing team[1] previously and we wants help from the design team.

@bt0dotninja It might be helpful for @ryanlerch to move this ticket to the Fedora Magazine theme repo. I also think Ryan is working on a lot of the Flock design material now, so we can probably look into knocking out some of these issues after Flock. :grinning: There's a few that we can hopefully get for the Community Blog theme too.
