namely:

• a size of 1890x800 pixels

• a 100px bleed area at the top and bottom of the 800px height. The
  background should extend into the bleed area, but the main focus and
  content of your image should not. This is because the images are
  trimmed at the top and bottom for the Recent Posts sidebars on
  posts.

• a 192px bleed area at the left and right of the 1890px width, some
  social sites automatically crop wider images, and keeping content
  in these bleeds makes sure your lettering and icons are not truncated
  by these sites. The template.svg has guides to show both vertical and
  horizontal bleed markers.

• exported images that are uploaded to WordPress can either be PNGs or
  JPGs. If you have an image that uses a photo, please convert it to a
  JPG to reduce the filesize.

We have a main banner here:

We'll need banners for each day of the conference, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3.. etc. I think there's 4 days? The "Day #" text should be large / prominent so they can be easily differentiated.

Here's the blog banner that I put together (the day banners will be soon to come as well)
@duffy @mleonova any thoughts on the look of this before I implement a similar design for the day banners too?
Should the day banners be 1890x800 as well?
*note I'm not sure that my bleed settings are exactly right but I can check that

Some feedback from design team meeting today:

try no birds/ less but bigger birds
make "I'm going..." text more prominent and more contrast for readability

Here's an update with the feedback applied above (I wanted to try to keep the birds so that the top isn't quite so bare), used the correct pixel size (inkscape didn't save the size that I entered for that last version, that's why it was so small!), and have the correct bleed as well
Any thoughts?

@maryshak1996 looks gorgeous! Only feedback... maybe do im going to in a dark color for contrast?

@duffy thanks for that feedback :) Here's a version with the "I'm going to..." text dark teal with a white outer glow around it to make it stand out
