Hi @maryshak1996 !

I love this concept! This is super-creative, and really functional! A few points of critique / ideas:

  • You'll notice a theme as I'm catching up with some of these tickets - I'm concerned this isn't as close to / cohesive with the main Flock 2017 brand as would be expected. Can you maybe bring the full Flock 2017 logo in where the plain flock logo is now in the layout? (This is a pretty good list of the assets we have that you could pull from: https://pagure.io/design/issue/519#comment-443408)

  • I don't think you need the QR code on here twice, and I think having it on the phone screen is a brilliant idea as it gives a clear clue what you're suppose to do with it, looks neat, and works. It doesn't have to be straight / aligned to work - people can turn their phone. I'd suggest making it just a bit bigger on the phone screen and dropping the upper right corner one.

  • I think the rope outlines are too thick? Can you maybe halve their width? (Would be more consistent with the rope in other assets)

  • I love, love, love the steampunk theme you've got going here and it is totally apropro for the party we're planning. The key seems a bit strong of an element though. I'm not 100% sure on it - is there a meaning there or just that skeleton keys are steampunky? I'm wondering if maybe the key is a bit large compared to the other elements and should maybe fade in to the background a bit more and hang with the other elements?

Let me know what you think.

Tried something different overall to fit the updated badge and color scheme for the rest of Flock :) any thoughts @duffy @mleonova

Do we have the QR code? This is just a generic one right now

@maryshak1996 love This! So perfect!

Yeh that qr code is just a filler. We need to file a ticket on the badges pagure to have the qr generated. Can you chase down last year's flock party badge ticket (if you look up the badge at badges.fpo, the pink to ticket should be in lower right of badge details page) and file a new one based on it for this year?

@duffy the ticket for the badge itself has been filed, so I'll go ahead and post to that about needing the QR , thanks!

status: we are waiting for QR to be generated, which happens when badge gets pushed. should be ready to push now. pinging @nb to push it. (thanks! :) )

Can we generate a similar design for the attendee badge?

Also, please invalidate the above QR and keep it private.

We dont keep the qr codes secret or private and in the years weve done this weve not had a cheating problem.

Attendee badge is awarded by qr code in the conference booklet.

@maryshak1996 do you need me to do the test printing or final printing?

@bex I did a test print already and tweaked a very small thing (just removed the drop shadow from the badge) and that updated PDF an SLA is here, and they printed great. I believe @duffy and I are printing/ laminating this in the office as well, so I think that these are all set here in the office
flock17-QR-scan-poster1.sla
flock17-QR-scan-poster2.pdf

Cool. I will put a note in my list that you all will provide these. Please provide 5 copies and bring some tape so we can hang them at the venue.

You all do not need to wait on me to close this ticket.
