Favicons are pretty limited in what we can portray in 16x16 pixels, so maybe something like an envelope that has a blue outline maybe?

Yeah, 16x16 is hard! I notice the postorius UI already uses an envelope with blue. Or possibly a chinese takeout container. Maybe the blue fedora bubble shape with an envelope inside -- is there room for that?

Hey! I ended up making an updated logo and favicon for Hyperkitty (upstream) as part of the work I've been doing on fedora-hubs. Just made them this week actually and shared them with abompard. Maybe they would help - I made them to match the Pagure logo bc i really love the look and thought it'd be nice for the app logos to look like they are part of the same family. Attaching here in case it's helpful....

That looks nice to me, but not sure if mattdm wanted a different one from upstream for Fedora or just a better upstream one. ;) Will let him chime in...

I love the new logo. I do want something to make it Fedora-specific, though, because eventually as hyperkitty catches on, it'll be like back when everyone's site logo was the Netscape Web Server icon.

Maybe this logo in Fedora blue would be enough?

this just needs to have the hyperkitty text added in the fedora logo font montserrat (like pagure.io - https://pagure.io/)
