is there any size / bleed dimensions from the printer required for this one?

We need to make sure we give them the right CMYK vaules here otherwise we will have a purpule fedora logo again.

cheers,

Thank you ryanlerch for your help :)

The timeline is pretty tight to get these printed/shipped in time for the OSCON booth, but they'll be usable in other places too, so let's move forward as if it will all work out ;)

Here is the link to the guidelines and Design FAQ's by the folks we'll be printing with:
- http://www.stickergiant.com/custom-stickers#Design

I'll find out the logistics of shipping/printing in the meantime, and if you have any questions, I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Thanks Again,

--RemyD.

Here are a few quick goes at the simple design.

Here are the print-ready PDFs for the two designs.

https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/attachment/ticket/390/fedorahexsticker-grey.pdf

Some quick notes:

  • these have the 0.125in bleed that the vendor lists on their website.
  • as well as the white background, there is the white shape in the PDF that shows the diecut shape. obviously you can't see it in the pdf because they are the same colour, so the PNGs might be good to give them so they know what we are after
  • The colours in the PDFs should be the correct CMYK values for the fedora blues. If they need the actual values for some reason, or the Pantone numbers for these colours, these are listed on this page -- http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines#Colors (Fedora Dark Blue and Fedora Light Blue)
  • The CMYK value of the grey of the grey version of the sticker was a bit of a guess on my part when converting from RGB to CMYK, but as long as it is dark enough to make the white border be visible when printed, and not be too dark, it should be OK.

I should be online this morning (USA time) for a bit, so feel free to ping me in #fedora-design if there are any questions / changes.

cheers,
ryanlerch
