It would be good to have it ready by the end of next week. We're going to put out the CfP with the old logo, but we'd like to have it available as a starting point for the rest of the artwork, i.e. standee designs, t-shirt designs, stickers, leaflets, etc.

It contains elements from Subroto Roy Stadium and the main facade of Pataleshwar caves - symbolizes the newest and the oldest in architecture with relation to Pune. I plan to make the caves fedora blue-ish to give them more contrast. Suggestions welcome

Thanks for the design Yogi! Awesome work. I saw last meeting logs for FUDCon Pune and made some minor alterations as people seemed to like this design and asked for changes. Here is the [https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/attachment/ticket/352/logo-draft-suchakra-2.png updated logo] with Pataleshwar caves also. I can do another one with just the Shaniwarwada if required. If we plan to do just Shaniwarwada, I suggest removing the surrounding walls (the ones that extend quite long on each side of main facade) and just have the main door structure with two round columns on each side.

Yogi, SVGs are also attached if you get more ideas.

One of the logo using India flag color as a background, since I saw from the meeting log someone ask for the flag, but it look odds, maybe we can leave it.
If we plan Pataleshwar and Shaniwarwada as Suchakra advise, but I change it using same color and white border to declare separate building.

I like the flag style. If it is really required (I am not pro-flag though) it would look better if its kept above the text only and does not percolate below. It looks a bit odd when it's below. If a part of it is supposed to be kept below, we can maybe increase the stroke thickness around text and fudcon logo (the white stroke) so that it's thick enough to completely cover it and no part of flag/design is visible in-between the text.

Phew, I should have made changes instead of explaining so much :-/ Please wait for a while I show what I am trying to say.

There's a misunderstanding. The comment in the meeting was about having a flag on top of shaniwarwada. There's apparently a flag pole on top that is not visible in the picture Pravin posted:

I'm not sure if it is necessary, but you could probably tinker with it and see what you end up with.

There was also mention of doing the logo with the Puneri pagadi (hat)[1] instead of the monuments. We don't have a draft for that yet, so the current contenders are the logos y'all have designed so far.

May be try to reduce balloons size and adjust it somepart in logo.

The guidelines don't allow us to change the size of them individually. Basically, the 'petals' and the 'fudcon' text have to be kept as it is. This is done to have some uniformity with the previous logos.
