#2289 Run PyPI package build with pyp2spec when Anitya autorebuilt is checked
Closed: MIGRATED 2 years ago by nikromen. Opened 2 years ago by ksurma.

In my test Copr repo I want to build PyPI packages automatically when a new version is published on PyPI and we get the information from Anitya.
I chose https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ksurma/test-pypi/package/python-pipenv/ There have been versions published 17.8 and 19.8 (both picked up by release-monitoring.org) but that didn't trigger the Copr rebuild.
It looks like if the build it triggered, it works only for pyp2rpm (https://pagure.io/copr/copr/blob/main/f/frontend/coprs_frontend/run/check_for_anitya_version_updates.py#_115). Please make it possible to build the packages with pyp2spec too, using the same logic as when manually triggering a build with this method.
