#1437 More fine-grained auto-createrepo control
Closed: MIGRATED a year ago by nikromen. Opened 3 years ago by iucar.

The "Create repositories manually" boolean is very handy for mass rebuilds, but it basically stops the whole Copr, all chroots, when the mass rebuild typically happens in just one of them. And we cannot recreate them manually one by one, because there's only one big button in the front page that would regenerate all chroots.

So it would be nice to have that boolean available per chroot. I think we talked about exposing the "regenerate" button through the CLI in another issue, and what that happens, it would be nice to be able to affect individual chroots too.

Hello @iucar,
thank you for the feedback.

but it basically stops the whole Copr, all chroots, when the mass rebuild typically happens in just one of them.

I think I don't really understand this part.

But otherwise, I agree with you. Having the "Create repositories manually" setting and (IMHO especially) the regenerate button per chroot might be useful.

Thanks. What I meant is the following. If I disable creating the repo automatically to rebuild stuff e.g. in rawhide, then users of e.g. the f31 and f32 chroots stop receiving updates.

True. Yes, I agree that we should introduce those settings per chroot.
