#1278 Branch Fedora 32
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by praiskup. Opened 4 years ago by churchyard.

My projects that are set to follow Fedora branching were not yet branched for Fedora 32. I suspect that Copr branches later than actual Fedora. Is there a time frame? Thanks

Hello @churchyard,
we have discussed this topic on our last meeting and we, unfortunately, need to postpone the adding of F32 chroots.

We are going to undergo a migration of Copr servers temporarily to Amazon and then to a new datacenter (because Fedora OpenStack is going to be shut down) and we currently cannot afford to add the F32 because it would generate a lot of new data, that we would need to migrate.

ETA for adding them is the 1st of March, at best.

I'd suggest you to disable builds for rawhide for some time, because you will
get f33 builds -> and later you will get f32 chroots populated with f33 builds.

Unfortunately, because of the servers movement, we can not afford to
generate another set of hundreds of gigabytes of data.

I understand the "you'll get rawhide builds in f32" problem and I don't mind. However this sounds like announcement material.

We in the end needed to update copr-frontend package first:

But F32 is added, and builds are inherited from rawhide. Thanks
again for the report.
