This is disabled in the upstream build but it should work just fine. qemu-kvm is a module though, so the same modularity fun that libvirt has applies here

It depends, is this part of the qemu tcg feature? That's currently disabled in libvirt on EL8, but if we're turning that on in QEMU, we can turn it back on in libvirt and we would need to rebuild it.

Have we tried to get virtfs enabled in qemu-kvm for CentOS Stream 9? That way we can drop the delta when we switch focus to CS9.
