#112 Draft and formalize SIG chairs election process

My suggestion:
- election open to current SIG members
- one week for self-nominations
- one week for SIG members to vote on an RCV ballot (e.g. via https://www.rcv123.org/)
- election is called at the next meeting and new chair becomes effective

Hyperscale SIG Election Process

Nomination

  • Nomination period : 08 June 2022 - 15 June 2022
  • Members may self-nominate to open seat(s)
  • To become a candidate, nominees must create an issue (election tagged) in pagure.

Voting

  • The ballot link and confirmation code [1] will be sent to all eligible voters [2]
  • Ballot starts : Wednesday 15 June 2022 at 1600 UTC
  • Ballot ends : Wednesday 22 June 2022 at 1600 UTC

Results

  • The results will be announced in the next SIG meeting

As discussed in today's meeting, we've extended nominations to June 26, and ballots will go out on June 27

@ngompa is elected to co-chair per today's meeting.
