#938 Remove AWS S3 bucket `cki-artifacts` and related IAM objects
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by arrfab. Opened 2 years ago by mh21.

The Red Hat CKi team (https://cki-project.org/) was using the cki-artifacts user and cki-artifacts bucket in the CentOS AWS account in us-east-2 for storing public artifacts related to Fedora/CentOS/RHEL kernel testing.

$ aws sts get-caller-identity
{
    "UserId": "AIDAR2OOCKQWY7MFIIZT3",
    "Account": "125523088429",
    "Arn": "arn:aws:iam::125523088429:user/cki-artifacts"
}

This bucket is not used anymore.

Would it be possible to remove the bucket and associated IAM objects?

Thank you!

Thanks @mh21 this is great citizenship behavior to free up resources

  • specific account/policy removed from IAM
  • dedicated S3 bucket initially cleared and then deleted

Thanks a lot for the notification, really appreciated :-)
