Thanks !
Your mirror http://mirror.theory7.net/ has been added to the mirrors DB
It will be listed as a public mirror (and on https://mirror-status.centos.org / https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP address[es] (95.179.144.7 2001:19f0:5001:d6d:5400:2ff:fe97:419c) has/have been added in the ACL and so you should be able to rsync from msync.centos.org in the next ~10min
Important : it only concerns CentOS Linux 7 and Stream 8. For Stream 9 and above, read (again) https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors
Kind Regards

Hi,
The mirror was shown at https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ but now gone again. Its still 'ok' when i check the status at: https://mirror-status.centos.org/#:~:text=no%20time-,mirror.theory7.net,-%40
Can you clarify/update me on this? Thanks in advance

I just checked and the mirror is ok. Public mirrors should synchronize ~6 times per day, so make sure you're keeping your mirror updated directly from centos.org
Could it be possible that you blocked our mirror?
[root@web blockstorage]# rsync -aqzH --delay-updates --delete-after /mnt/blockstorage/fedora msync.centos.org::CentOS /mnt/blockstorage/ Unexpected remote arg: msync.centos.org::CentOS rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at main.c(1344) [sender=3.1.2]
msync.centos.org::CentOS is for the legacy centos 7 content that went away in June, when both CentOS Stream 8 and CentOS Linux 7 went EOL (and so all content removed from mirror.centos.org btw)
If you want to mirror CentOS Stream content (9 and 10), you can follow the procedure described on https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/

HI!
We've updated the mirror with the new streams. See for this:
https://mirror.theory7.net/centos-stream/
Can you add the mirror again?
Thanks in advance!
Please, don't reopen a 2years old ticket for a new request , as it's a different process and not even related directly to first mirror request (different system) So closing this one and you can then open new ticket/template like described on https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ ?
Thanks in advance
