Hi, we'd like to request a namespace for the Hyperscale SIG under gitlab.com/CentOS (e.g. gitlab.com/CentOS/Hyperscale). Please add myself and @ngompa as owners so we can manage it as needed (or if we can somehow tie it to the ACO group, even better). Thanks!

I guess you already read dedicated https://sigs.centos.org/guide/gitlab/ section, so which case would you like to see applied for you ? a single SSO group (that would then be sig-hyperscale) as single owner of that project ? (so everybody in that group would have full rights below that level) ?
sig-hyperscale
Or instead the 'more complexe case', as used by automotive sig, and so in which we'd need to define first some group mappings so that SSO (this should be verified and implemented) would give different rights ?
Once you'll let us know, @mobrien or myself can create the needed group[s] in IPA backend and so create the initial structure with top-level mapping for SSO (saml)
We'd want to use this to host public repos (meaning, repos anyone can clone and potentially submit MRs to). Assuming the "simple option" allows that (it's not entirely clear from reading the guide), that would work for us (we're fine with everyone in the SIG having the same level of access here).

https://gitlab.com/CentOS/hyperscale is now created and with sig-hyperscale ACO group linked through SAML as Owner. Can you visit https://id.centos.org/gitlab once please to ensure that the sync of group membership works? After that you should have needed rights
Can you confirm it's working and if so close ticket after ? Thanks
Thanks, seems to be working fine.
