Sorry but you haven't provided any link to your node that should be registered in mirrormanager, so nothing we can do.
Can you so, per wiki instructions, register your mirror in mirrormanager and then update ticket so that we can proceed ?

Still no feedback, just waiting some extra days and we'll close request if we don't have needed information

Hi

we registered a new site on the date that we opened the case

I don't know what it the next step is, because we are blocked from rsync.stream.centos.org

mm.png

the issue is there no centos stream in the category to add the content URL

Regards

multiple things :

  • centos_streem in url : is that incorrect name used on purposes ?
  • you shouldn't be blocked from rsync.stream.centos.org, as long as you don't come from embargoed country
  • can't see that image but in the template you have to give the url to your host id in mirrormanager

Waiting on some feedback and then we can proceed

I don't see your mirror on https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/mirrors so please , can you provide (as asked initially multiple times) the full link to hostID and site in mirrormanager ?

Thanks :)

Dear Arrfab,

We don't mirror fedora so I choose fedora linux with this link
http://mirrors.isu.net.sa/centos_streem

Categories Carried

Hosts carry categories of software. Example Fedora categories include Fedora and Fedora Archive.

Fedora Linux

If there is any miss config kindly inform me to remove the mirror completely.

Thanks

I located what appears to be your host in our MirrorManager instance. Is this correct?

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mirrormanager/host/2775

Please rename your mirror's centos_streem directory to the correct spelling of centos_stream to avoid confusion. Once that is done, we can add the CentOS category to your host.

Dear Carlwgeorge,

renamed successfully

Regards

Thanks for renaming that. I was preparing to get this all set up when I noticed that original request is also missing an rsync endpoint. We need that for our crawler to efficiently index the content to determine how up-to-date your mirror is. Would it be possible to enable that for us?

Dear Carlwgeorge,

As per Network management, they didn't allow rsync.

is there any other way?

Regards
Sami

For now we can move forward with just the http and https endpoints. Scanning over http(s) does work but is significantly less efficient. If at some point you are able to enable rsync please let us know.

I've enabled the CentOS category in MirrorManager on this host, using the provided URLs. MirrorManager should automatically scan those and will soon start returning these mirrors in the appropriate metalink response.
