#503 migrate legacy nfs-ganesha CI to openshift
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by arrfab. Opened 2 years ago by kkeithle.

CentOS CI - On-boarding

Please note that Infra space is for Fedora and CentOS related projects to
consume. Decision may take some time (often up to 2 weeks) as these are decided
by the whole team.
Once decided as go, we will create you a namespace in a openshift https://pagure.io/centos-infra/new_issue?template=ci-onboardingcluster where
you can configure your CI. We do provide a Jenkins template in case you want to be
able to consume vms/baremetal nodes to perform your CI.

Please answer the following questions so that we understand your requirement.

  • How does your project relates to Fedora/CentOS?

nfs-ganesha is a layered package on top of glusterfs, ceph, gpfs, and more and is one of the Storage SIG packages.

  • Describe your workflow and if you need any special permissions (other than
admin access to namespace), please tell us and provide a reason for them.

The nfs-ganesha project runs a gerrit in gerrithub.io and submits jobs from there

  • Do you need bare-metal/vms checkout capability? (we prefer your workflow
    containerized)

Can probably be containerized.

  • Resources required
  • PVs:

Project nfs-ganesha was created on openshift and basic dedicated jenkins and cico-workspace deployed.

You can now login on https://jenkins-nfs-ganesha.apps.ocp.ci.centos.org with your ACO/FAS account (click on 'login with openshift', which will then ask for your 'centos_and_fedora_authentication')

https://docs.infra.centos.org/operations/ci/migration/migrate_to_new_cluster/#setting-up-your-jobs-in-cico-workspace-jenkins should be a good pointer to how to setup your jobs in jenkins.
You can also have a look at "legacy" jenkins setup at ci.centos.org
