Do we really need the trailing s for the dist? Can't we go with el8 and el9 instead of el8s and el9s?
That's what was decided through some SIG meetings for Stream in the past so coming from the buildsys-macros setup but that can also be updated per tag, so if you want .el8 and .el9 dist tags, I can also update the build tags with that. Is that what you want ?

ok, have edited both build tags to override rpm macro dist to el8 and el9. Let me close as builds are working
