I wasn't sure where to request this, but have seen similar requests here so I thought it might be the right place. The SIG Guide is sadly outdated regarding centos-release-$sig packages.

@hughesjr and @carlwgeorge: Please let me know if I should open a ticket on bugzilla.

centos-release-kmods has been built and shipped in the extras repo for both c8 and c8s.

Sorry to reopen late, but I just realized now that the package has been tagged for both dist-c8-extras-compose and dist-c8-stream-extras-compose. However it should have only been tagged for the stream one as requested cause we have only supported stream at that time and the centos-release-* packages actually differ between stream and non-stream.
As we are by now building for non-stream as well, can you please:

Build and tag for dist-c8-extras-compose:
https://git.centos.org/rpms/centos-release-kmods/c/a919f06cc933dc59cf4bc75de69449f822e1915c?branch=c8-sig-kmods

Build and tag for dist-c8-stream-extras-compose:
https://git.centos.org/rpms/centos-release-kmods/c/c3f051fcbe79a28081e25a740d66e5d831c21414?branch=c8s-sig-kmods

The resulting packages have different NVRs. This should fix the issue.

Sorry for the lack of communication here. We published centos-release-kmods-1-2.el8 for c8 and centos-release-kmods-2-1.el8 for c8s last week.
