#369 Build the new CentOS Infra and Releng documentation system
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by arrfab. Opened 2 years ago by arrfab.

As discussed during stand-up, let's all consolidate all various documentations/snippets from various place into a new automated workflow based on mkdocs.org

We need:

  • git repository and ACL to let people push to it
  • basic doc in that repo
  • external Virtual Machine deployed and configured by ansible
  • simple workflow (like we use already for www.centos.org automatic render based on git commit) to automatically render/update centos infra doc website (infra and releng)

Git repository initialized and some identified people (through accounts.centos.org auth) have already access.
It's available at the following location : https://git.centos.org/centos/centos-infra-docs

Next steps are the VM and automatic rendering

External VM is now deployed, configured by ansible and the following commit add the new feature : https://github.com/CentOS/ansible-role-httpd/commit/840beb3a529235b4d18c125d72be5d87dfe6d93f

On each commit, in the next minute, the content will be rendered live on https://docs.infra.centos.org

Waiting now next stand-up meeting to discuss that new feature and close this ticket
