#309 enable rsync for composes.stream.centos.org
Closed: Invalid 2 years ago by arrfab. Opened 2 years ago by dcavalca.

It'd be great to have rsync enabled on this endpoint to make composes easier to consume.

It would be very nice, but I want to set expectations here. This is not on our immediate plans. We can scope this for longer-term.

That's fine, thanks. For context on why: my plan on the FB side is to begin importing c9s composes as soon as they start being signed so we can test things. I can do that by mirroring over HTTP using something like lftp, but that tends to be expensive (both for the server and the client), so that's why we'd prefer rsync.

@bstinson Can this be re-considered now ? We also have a use-case for opendev/OpenStack CI which would consume CS composes before they are published to see if they break our CI jobs and report that back to RHEL team!
