Hi guys. If this is not the very good place for report such as this - sorry, I wasn't sure where to go to. There is a thing - after having "migrated" to Stream by installing a "centos-stream-release.noarch" it seems that such a "successful" migration uses: centos-linux-repos.noarch. I cannot know it that is by design by can say it's certainly quite confusing but, in case it's by an omission then: only if manually added to a system which says is "stream" already, a "centos-stream-repos.noarch", only then system really hooks into "stream".
regards, L.
and just to add.. if you want to move to "real" stream (freaking parallel universes in practice) then... -> $ dnf install centos-release-stream.x86_64 Last metadata expiration check: 2:50:47 ago on Tue 16 Feb 2021 11:53:15 GMT. Error: Problem: installed package centos-stream-release-8.4-1.el8.noarch obsoletes centos-release-stream < 8.3-4 provided by centos-release-stream-8.1-1.1911.0.7.el8.x86_64 - conflicting requests - problem with installed package centos-stream-release-8.4-1.el8.noarch
