#1594 Redesign mirror network due to Equinix stopping OSS sponsorship

For a long time, we were relying on several hosted machines (sponsored by Equinix) in the mirror network to feed/seed our mirror[s] network.
As Equinix is stopping their Metal offering (https://deploy.equinix.com/blog/sunsetting-equinix-metal/) they contacted us to let us know that we have to shutdown existing sponsored machines before end of April 2025

That means :

  • redesign current mirror network layout
  • adapt how machines are getting content for rsync.stream.centos.org pool
  • decommission and return the Equinix machines
  • remove Equinix from sponsors list
