#1450 CERN: CentOS Stream rsync mirror host change
Closed: Fixed 9 months ago by arrfab. Opened 9 months ago by cern.

Hello,
We are in the process of serving rsync requests from dedicated infrastructure.

As a result, we will soon decommission rsync from linuxsoft.cern.ch and instead only serve rsync from rsync-linuxsoft.cern.ch

Can you please add a CentOS category for the "rsync-linuxsoft.cern.ch" host in MirrorManager?

can you link to that registered host in mirrormanager ? thanks a lot
Also which ip should be added in the ACL (ideally the correct template should have been used for that too)

Hello
The ACLs will not change as we use the same mirror infrastructure as previously requested (https://pagure.io/centos-infra/issue/472)

All we are doing is moving rsync to a dedicated DNS name.
The record in mirror manager is https://mirrormanager.fedoraproject.org/host/3117

ack .. I've added the CentOS category on that host and only added the rsync://rsync-linuxsoft.cern.ch/centos-stream/ rsync url (no http/https for now)
If you need us to also add these, let us know
