I kindly request the creation of a bot account for CBS Koji, specifically designed for tagging packages and builds. The purpose of this account is to facilitate the automation of tag promotions for tags matching the pattern autosd9s-packages-main-*. well, some SIGs are already doing this and they just create/manage themselves a FAS account for this , but ideally pointing to a shared email alias, and not a personal one, so that multiple people from the SIG/group would be able to recover the account if needed. (same for sharing the info about credentials for that account in FAS/ACO).
Are there best practices, around the name of the bot for example?
no "best practices" (never discussed TBH) but some SIGs just decided to call it <sig>bot (see https://accounts.centos.org/user/hyperscalebot/ ) or <project>bot (https://accounts.centos.org/user/rdobuilder/ for example for cloud SIG)

as it it will be tied to an email alias under your control, it's up to the SIG to create and maintain the user account in FAS (including credentials, and enable 2FA - advised)
We have found that there is an already created atcbot account for such operation and we can Therefore, this request is no longer needed.
