Closed: Fixed None Opened 12 years ago by inode0.

Let's review the list of Q1 2011 Fedora events to get a handle on which of those we plan to attend again in 2012 and figure out owners for them before there is a time crunch.

{{{
PyCon
SXSW
POSSCON (on 2012 event page without an owner now)
ILF (on 2012 event page with Brian Pepple as the owner)
Penguicon
ABLEconf
Texas Linux Fest
Camp KDE <--- Can't find any specific information on this one but it was a special event for us last year anyway
LFNW
Red Hat Summit moved to Q2 in 2012
MagnetCon <--- postponed again until 2013
Libre Graphics Meeting <--- Not located in North America in 2012
}}}

Libre Planet is another one.

Devopsdays Austin, Texas April 2/3
I kind of see this one as a good place to maybe send a person more as a representative to encourage people to package their tools in Fedora - explain the value of the sysadmin/devops audience that Fedora has.

Might be interesting to see if ke4qqq would want to pick this up or help someone out as part of his goal... I will drop him an email.

openstack design summit and conference
April 16-18 is the "summit" for developers (planning for next release)
April 19-20 is the users portion of conference

Russell Bryant (russellb in FAS), Mark McLoughlin (markmc) are two folks I know who will almost certainly will be going who could help rep for Fedora there, and I'd be willing to bet they'd love to have a flyer as well.

http://www.flourishconf.com/2012/ <-- Flourish! Conference. Looks to be a decently sized, student-run open source software conference, in Chicago, will be in its 6th year. Is coming up soon, March 30-31.
