Tracking ticket for event planning. Call for talks now open (closes Jul 6).
I know Fedora is going to be present at this event but no one has yet taken ownership of the event. I created a beginning event page for the event here
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ohio_Linux_Fest_2012
We need to get on this pretty soon so we have a table reserved.
I noticed that Fedora is listed as a sponsor here:
http://www.ohiolinux.org/sponsors.html
Did someone actually arrange sponsorship at some level for this year? Do we also have a table arranged?
I have added additional information to the event page including the proposed sponsorship level (bronze) and cost ($500). The Ohio LinuxFest webpage indicates that Aug. 1 was the last day to be included in the printed materials/map as a sponsor. I pinged several people with OLF (called, emailed) but have not yet received a response. I'll ping the list and irc when I do hear back.
The OLF speaker wrangler (Philip) got back to me and is passing my questions/inquiry (and the fact that their phone # is disconnected) on to the person he thinks is responsible for sponsorship.
I have attached two documents:
I recommend that we consider the bronze sponsorship level which includes:
Bronze level cost: $500
The date for floor map inclusion can be ignored, the sponsorship coordinator believes they won't finalize the printed materials until the end of August.
Printouts for inclusion in the conference bags will be due the Thursday before the conference.

Due to the pretty pictures, the prospectus was too big to attach. However, I pasted the sponsorship levels and details below:

Bronze sponsor level for $500 was approved on 08/07/2012. Contract was sent to Ruth Suehle to complete on 08/08/2012.
On 8/14/2012: Motion for OLF total budget of $1400 was approved in order to include graphite6's travel subsidy ($306 (airfare) and $277 (hotel))
Ruth: Can you look into paying this this week so we can book it into this quarter?
Sarah: If you haven't yet purchased your airfare - can you let either myself or Ruth or Leslie do so, so we can book it into this quarter (need to do by Friday, basically) - I'd normally say Dan could do so and transfer the expense between departments at some point, but he'd need more than $1k of expenses to transfer, and we're just looking to fill up the quarter at this point. :)
Ben and Jamie will be driving up to the conference with the event box and the Beefy Miracle. Sarah will bring her raspberry pi and some sort of monitor for demo.
