SSSD 1.6.0 includes a major rewrite to the FreeIPA HBAC rule evaluation, including the generation of a common shared library that will be used by the FreeIPA project.
These changes (and the myriad of improvements, bug and internationalization fixes) need to be backported to the stable branch, in part because the FreeIPA project is now depending on the new libipa_hbac.so.
