#688 Use entryUSN, if available, instead of modifiedTimestamp in enumerations
Closed: Fixed None Opened 13 years ago by simo.

modifiedTimestamp is not reliable if the server is in a multimaster setup.

We should detect (rootdse) if entryUSN is available and use that instead. See Freeipa ticket 526 (https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/526)

AD also provide USNs (uses a different name) and they behave like entryUSN from the client pov.
