#3778 When sssd is running as non-root user, the sudo pipe is created as sssd:sssd but then the private pipe ownership fails
Closed: Fixed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by jhrozek.

Since commit ed90a20, the sudo pipe is a private one. This means that the responder asserts that the owner of the pipe is root:root. But this is not the case when sssd is running as unprivileged user, then the pipe is created as sssd:sssd and the check never succeeds.

Patches should be probably backported also to older branches to avoid regressions.

Unfortunately they do not apply. Do you have time to work on a backport?
