Firstly, the user shown when using the files provider together with domain resolution order is not in the expected format: [user@implicit_files@machine# $
[user@implicit_files@machine# $
Secondly, the user (now using its fully qualified name) is not able to sudo su in the machine where it wouldn't fail before.
sudo su
Steps to reproduce: - Ensure you have SSSD running with support to the files provider - Add, in the [sssd] section of /etc/sssd/sssd.conf [ssssd] domain_resolution_order = foo - Restart SSSD - Log out of the machine (here I was ssh'ing to the machine) - Log on to the machine (here I was ssh'ing to the machine)
[ssssd] domain_resolution_order = foo
