#3559 disable wiki and projects functionality at http://github.com/SSSD/sssd
Closed: Fixed 6 years ago Opened 6 years ago by sobek.

I propose to disable the wiki and projects function of SSSD/sssd on GitHub.
It should work out via: Settings -- Options -- Features:
[ ] Wikis
[ ] Projects

The projects functionality is not used (https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/projects).
The information in the wiki is outdated (https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/wiki) and can be accessed by following the link on the main site to the docs on Pagure (https://pagure.io/docs/SSSD/sssd/).

I tend to agree. We have a team call on Thursday where we normally discuss new tickets opened for the week, so by that time, other team members should also voice their opinion.

But please note that there is an internal Red Hat deadline coming up soon, so many of the core developers are busy and in general our replies might be a bit slower (not just to this ticket but to e.g. the docs PR).

I thought it is already disabled :-) on github

And https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/wiki could probably points to README file which already have similar info.

Take your time.

I tested with a fork on GitHub:
"Settings -- Options -- Features: [ ] Wikis" will make the "Wiki" tab disappear. After that loading https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/wiki will automatically redirect to https://github.com/SSSD/sssd.

OK, since others agreed as well, I disabled both wiki and projects.

@sobek thank you for the suggestion, I hope it's OK to close the ticket now?
