Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7): Bug 1459348
Description of problem: The sss-certmap man page could use a statement in the priority section mentioning that processing stops when a matched rule is found and no further rules are checked. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sssd-1.15.2-43.el7.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. man sss-certmap Actual results: PRIORITY The rules are process by priority while the number '0' (zero) indicates the highest priority. The higher the number the lower is the priority. A missing value indicates the lowest priority. Internally the priority is treated as unsigned 32bit integer, using a priority value larger than 4294967295 will cause an error. Expected results: A note about processing stopping after a match would be helpful. Additional info:

Since we are required to release a new upstream tarball no later than Friday Oct-20, I'm moving tickets that will not be closed by that date to the next milestone, 1.16.1
Metadata Update from @jhrozek: - Issue set to the milestone: SSSD 1.16.1 (was: SSSD 1.16.0)
@sbose I think this ticket should definitely not block the 1.16.1 release but I wonder if you have an opinion on whether it should be fixed in 1.16.2 or later (even deferred if you think so)
For now, I'm proposing 2.0 because this issue doesn't affect any users.

|| statement in the priority section mentioning that processing stops when a matched rule is found and no further rules are checked.
Cannot find above statement in sss_certmap man page. sssd-1.16.1-2.fc27.x86_64
Yes, adding this statement is what this ticket is about.
