#3390 [RFE] Improve the way getdomains request is used by cache_req
Closed: wontfix 4 years ago by pbrezina. Opened 6 years ago by fidencio.

As part of the review of https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/pull/259 Pavel Březina came up with the following suggestion:

  • Call at startup so we know the subdomains
  • Call as part of sss_parse_inp_send() in case the domain is yet unknown, the timeout for this case should be 60 seconds as default.
  • Call as part of cach_req_send to cover cases like this and to make sure we hook to the callback of any existing getdomains request (similar dp request are combined into one in responder). This should have an hour timeout.
