#33 [sssd] [ping_check] (0): A service PING returned an error [org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply], closing connection.
Closed: Invalid None Opened 16 years ago by mnowak.

On one of the NSS tests https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2009-04-30_SSSD#NSS_Tests I received twice some sort of timeout:

dhcp-lab-124 ~ # getent group |grep nativelocaluser
[sssd] [ping_check] (0): A service PING returned an error [org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply], closing connection.
nativelocaluser:x:5000:
dhcp-lab-124 ~ # server_sort:Unable to register control with rootdse!
asq: Unable to register control with rootdse!
[sssd] [global_checks_handler] (0): Unknown child (11276) did exit

But second attempt worked.

sssd-0.3.2-2.fc11.x86_64

This may have been caused by the LDAP server taking too long to return the full list. Try uncommenting the timeout=60 line in the [domains/LDAP] section of the sssd.conf

Request for more information has gone unanswered for a month. Closing as WORKSFORME.
