#2835 autogenerate docs from git sources
Closed: wontfix 4 years ago by pbrezina. Opened 8 years ago by jhrozek.

This is an idea that Nikos (of gnutls and OpenConnect fame) gave me. With OpenConnect they apparently keep some of their docs in git in markdown so that this:

https://github.com/openconnect/recipes

becomes this:

http://www.infradead.org/ocserv/recipes.html

It would be nice to keep our docs in git as well. In general we don't do a great job at keeping the docs up-to-date and I guess being able to git grep them would help.

Also, this might help with the planned increased presence on github.
