#2813 man page for sss_override command provides irrelevant information for --debug option

Created 2 years ago by preichl
Modified 9 months ago

Following text is specific for SSSD and does not relate to sss_override IMO.

"""
Please note that each SSSD service logs into its own log file. Also please note that enabling “debug_level” in the “[sssd]” section only enables debugging just for the sssd process itself, not for the responder or provider processes. The “debug_level” parameter should be added to all sections that you wish to produce debug logs from.

In addition to changing the log level in the config file using the “debug_level” parameter, which is persistent, but requires SSSD restart, it is also possible to change the debug level on the fly using the sss_debuglevel(8) tool.

There was an issue in the patch related to including xml files that we didn't solve before the upstream release, so I'm moving the ticket into the next one.

milestone: SSSD 1.13.3 => SSSD 1.13.4

The patch is available, but not required for the stable branch. We should just push it to master.

milestone: SSSD 1.13.4 => SSSD 1.14 alpha

trivial man page patch, but we need to release 1.14 soon.
