#2804 Size limit exceeded too loud during POSIX check
Closed: Fixed None Opened 8 years ago by jhrozek.

We run a check for POSIX attribute presence after startup, where we set sizelimit=1. If the POSIX attributes are present, we always get an error message saying "Size limit exceeded" which is confusing admins a lot.

We should make the message less verbose, special case the POSIX check or change the code so that the error message is only returned and the caller prints it if needed.

Details tbd.

Should be done in 1.13.x
