#2675 quota report for ldap useres failed
Closed: Invalid None Opened 8 years ago by diablo80.

xfs_quota and repquota does not report quota usage for ldap users in Rhel7/Centos7

Looks like at least repquota uses setpwent()/getpwent(). Can you check if enableing enumeration in sssd.conf helps?

yes activating enumeration helps but the ldap data base is very huge so performance decreases rapidly

repquota requires that enumeration is available. Would you mind to open a ticket for quota-tools and ask if this requirement can be removed? Please note that not only SSSD is affected by this e.g. Samba's winbind disables enumeration by default as well.

Since enabling enumeration fixed quota, I'm closing this ticket on the SSSD side
