#2670 Log File Access Issues
Closed: wontfix 4 years ago by pbrezina. Opened 8 years ago by mtecknology.

I previously created a bug report because of a very hard to diagnose issue. With debug level 9, I was able to see a file access error about create_ccache, but that didn't really tell me what the issue is.

After launching sssd with strace, I was able to figure out which file sssd was trying to access. I updated permissions and then everything started working.

I think that sssd should be logging file access issues, especially if they're going to cause behavior such as what I saw.

We already added debug messages to all create_ccache() branches during 1.12 development. We should just re-test if there is a sensible error message.
